any men in holiday commercials?

I know they have a guy at the jewelry store sitting next to the ecstatic lady and very happy shop clerk. Other than that most of the subjects of the commercials are women and children.

I have always thought this was strange, ever since I was small. I assumed that the father was there on the side, behind the camera, writing the checks for everything they are enjoying.

Doesn't seem like a way to build a society. I can guess it creates all manner of pathological behaviors.

Someone mentioned to me that this is a woman's thing. Apparently to this person:

we have to go thru this to fight off the terrorists
mostly women seem to be complaining

I will have to keep my eyes peeled on this.

In this broadcast about people waiting in line for holiday travel security, 2 (presumably random) people are interviewed:

the woman: gives her full name, is thankful and happy about something not related to the story and stresses safety

the man: does not give a last name, got screwed over by the airline and closes with a sarcastic joke

This is about the feminization of our existence. I do believe that this is on a pendulum and the current society is too far one way! The effects will become more obvious over time and in the free societies, it could begin to swing back.

Many subjects described here will be "politically incorrect" (indeed even the concept itself).

They will represent my opinion and observations at the time they are made.
